Piano Rush for iPad · Effective 27 October 2026

Piano Rush is a piano game for children. It is built to collect no personal data from anyone. This page explains what data the app keeps, where it stays, and how a parent can manage it.

Data we collect

None. The app has no accounts and does not ask for an email address, real name, photo, location or contacts. The app itself sends no data to the developer or any third party. The only things that leave the iPad are a result card image that a parent chooses to share (see Sharing below) and a purchase a parent makes through Apple's App Store (see In-app purchase below).

If the device owner has turned on sharing analytics with app developers in the iPad's settings, Apple may send the developer anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These reports contain no nickname or player data.

Data kept on the iPad

So that the game remembers progress, the app stores the following on that iPad only:

This data is included in the iPad's own backup (iCloud or a computer) as the device owner has set it up, so progress carries over to a new iPad. That backup belongs to the device owner's account; the developer cannot access it.

Ads, tracking and analytics

No ads, no third-party analytics or tracking, no advertising identifier (IDFA). The app needs no internet connection to play; it talks only to Apple's App Store, when it checks the purchase status and when a parent opens the purchase page, buys or restores.

In-app purchase

Stages 1–2 (10 levels) are free. Stage 3 onward opens with a one-time "Unlock the full game" purchase; there is no subscription. The price and the buy button sit behind the parent PIN or the adult question only; children never see a price or a buy button.

Buying, restoring and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store, with the Apple ID on that iPad. Apple takes the payment under Apple's own privacy policy. The developer receives no name, email address, Apple ID or payment details, and the app uses no third-party payment service. The app checks the purchase on the iPad itself and keeps the unlock on the device (see Data kept on the iPad), sends it nowhere, and there is no developer server. With Family Sharing turned on, family members can use the purchase too.

Parent area

Settings, adding more players or removing players, the play overview, sharing and purchases all require the parent PIN, or answering a question meant for adults, first. The parts children use have no external links and no social buttons.

Sharing a result card

From the parent area, a parent can make a result card as an image. It shows only the player's colour and results; the nickname is added only if the parent turns it on (off by default). It has no photo, location or link. The image goes through the iPad share sheet to the destination the parent picks. If the parent chooses Save Image, iPadOS asks for permission to add photos; the app uses it only to save the card and never reads the photo library.

Resetting and deleting data

Children's privacy

The app is made for children. We do not collect, use or disclose personal information from children, in line with the App Store Kids Category guidelines, Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and COPPA.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics and loads nothing from other sites. The server keeps no log of visits (such as IP addresses or pages visited).

Changes

If the app ever changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above before that version is released.
